CB CLASS GUARDS VAN

During World War 2 Queensland Rail had a shortage of Guards vans, so just about anything that could be converted was. The program of conversion was massive and involved no less than 10 different types of freight wagons being converted. The majority of these conversions however were carried out on C class box wagons. Note this wagon has three sliding doors on each side. Also in this series of CB wagons were numbers 4575, 5630, 5631, 5633, 5640.
