Chapter 79 – 28/04/2013

79-01So after having announced the release of our third RTR wagon, the KOJX, in the last chapter, it would appear we picked the right model to produce. Well, either that or one could be mistaken for thinking we have been listening to you all and are just making what you have asked us to.

79-02Either way, the response to the KOJX has been nothing short of phenomenal! I would (yet again and as ever) like to take the opportunity to thank you all for your seemingly never ending support in all of our “little projects”.

79-03Already, due to popular demand, we have had to add another set to the KOJX range. Set 5 includes a further 10 running numbers to help create those long and realistic trains.

With support such as we have been receiving, we may just have to keep releasing more models along these lines.

79-04As with all of our RTR models, I have had to place a few on the layout… Just for testing purposes, mind you.

So with 23 “test” KOJX wagons on the layout, I am getting close to my target of the first 30 car train. Then it is on to the second 30 car train. But that’s another story.

79-05As some of you may know from the forums, Wuiske Models, again in conjunction with the long suffering Haskell Co, are pleased to announce that we will be unveiling a sample of our fourth RTR model at this year’s Brisbane Model Train Show. There may, or may not, be a few surprises tied up with this too.
All in all though, it promises to be a winner.

79-06WUISKE MODELS will be at stand number 44 in the Winner’s Circle room on Level 1.

The Winner’s Circle room is located to the right when entering the level via the escalators.

Jade, Rob and myself will be there, be sure to look out for us in amongst a stack of black boxes!

79-07At this years show, we will also be releasing our long awaited billboards in HO and N scale. These laser cut styrene billboards come with a pre-printed advertisement for what is arguably the most famous (or infamous) billboard in Australia.

79-08That’s right, it’s the Advanced Medical Institute’s “Want Longer Lasting Sex” billboard. These should be getting uploaded to the site shortly.

79-09Unfortunately this is a fairly brief little rant from me this time as we are busily preparing our surprises for you next weekend. With any luck a few jaws will hit the floor.

As always though, we shall see how we go.
